Description
Benjamin Harrison: Large Pair of White House China Plates. Scarce in this large 9.5" size, and is similar to illustration #64 in Margaret Brown Klapthor's Official White House China. The back is marked in gold-colored text: "Harrison 1892" and "M.W. Beveridge." While the smaller versions of this plate do appear from time to time, these larger examples are prohibitively rare. A great opportunity to acquire a pair of superb examples.We have sold single smaller 8.5" examples for $3,000 in past auctions.
