Description
William McKinley: Lidded China Portrait Box. 4" x 4" at the base and 2.25" high. Attributable to the 1896 election, as a Bryan mate is also known. The box is of delicately hand-painted china and carries a color transfer portrait bust of William McKinley on the lid. A light shade of turquoise is the predominant color upon which gilt flourishes and violet flowers are liberally distributed.
