Description

William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt: Bas Relief Bronze by R.P. Golde. This piece features "William McKinley" on the left and "Theodore Roosevelt" on the right. The artist's signature appears left of McKinley reading, "R.P. Golde" with the date "1900." At the bottom of the bronze between McKinley and Roosevelt is inscribed "Jno Williams 1900," and beneath the shoulder of Roosevelt is stamped "JNo. Williams Founder NY." The bronze measures 13.5" x 10.25", with the gold-colored frame's overall size measuring 19.375" x 16".

Condition: Small glossy black accretion on the underside portion of McKinley's left shoulder. The frame has expected wear, with scattered light chipping. A scratch is on the upper top left edge, and the back paper is ripped. Property from the Cary M. Maguire Estate, Dallas, Texas.
