Description
Theodore Roosevelt: Bronze Plaque, one of the nicest we have seen. In exceedingly thick heavy bronze, with high relief, this plaque pictures T.R., Washington, and Lady Liberty. It exhibits a combination of patriotic style and art nouveau motif. Issued by the "Fraternal Sons of St. Patrick", the design also incorporates their logo in the form of a badge, reading "121st Anniversary Banquet March 17th, 1905." Washington is pictured as he was president when the organization was founded, and of course T.R. was the incumbent president in 1905. A really lovely wall plaque, with original brass suspensions loop on reverse. Height 7.375".Auction Info
