Teddy Roosevelt's Pince Nez Glasses Theodore Roosevelt was well-known for speaking softly and carrying a big stick. He was known for his pince nez eyeglasses as well. This pair of glass and metal glasses comes with a case used by Roosevelt that measures slightly longer than the glasses. An original prescription has the handwritten provenance about the glasses or case from the office of John Morgan, M.D. dating to around his time in office. In addition a bold cabinet card of TR shows him wearing pince nez glasses.Auction Info
