Description
George Washington: Hollow Metal Bust. 6 3/4" x 11 3/4" hollow metal bronze spelter/white metal painted bust of Washington featuring an epaulet on his right shoulder and draped fabric along his left. Face is painted in a copper color, with the bust in bronze color. Modern late 19th to early 20th Century Paris export made for the American market. French foundry stamp on reverse.Condition: General wear with scattered abrasions, areas of paint loss, and a small chip to marble base on the back right corner.
