Description

Franklin D. Roosevelt: Mechanical Bartender Mantel Clock and Lamp. Circa 1933 copper-finish pot metal combination clock/lamp with portraits of "Roosevelt", "Gen. H. S. Johnson" and "Miss F. Perkins" (the first woman Cabinet member in U. S. history). Titled "The Spirit of the U.S.A." Clock currently not in working order but, when operational, depicts a bartender mixing a drink. Would require some additional re-wiring to supply an electric current to the lights. Made by United Clock Company of Brooklyn. Minimal wear.
