Description

Calvin Coolidge: 1928 Bill Signing Pen. A Bill Signer pen from the administration of Calvin Coolidge. Wrapped around the 9" long pen in its original box is a 6" x 9" letter on White House stationary dated May 17, 1928. The letter reads,
"Dear Mr. Morgan: Complying with the request contained in your letter of May 12th, I have pleasure in sending you herewith the pen used by the President today in signing the bill. H.R. 7459, An Act to authorize the appropriation for use by the Secretary of Agriculture of certain funds for wool standards, and for other purposes. Sincerely yours,
E. T. Clark Acting Secretary to the President."
