Abraham Lincoln: Molded Relief Portrait Tile. 6" x 9" molded relief tile with a glazed sepia portrait of Lincoln, produced by Sherwin & Cotton Eastwood Tile Works in Hanley, Staffordshire, with copyright by M. Price from 1891. The portrait has slightly raised areas which, in conjunction with the glaze, gives a three-dimensional effect. Similar ones produced from the same company were titled "Abraham Lincoln 1809-1909" at top in honor of Lincoln's Centennial, but this example is untitled. Gift inscription on verso.

Condition: Some surface cracks and marks, with the felt backing partially off.
