Mounted on cardstock and matted to the overall size of 20" x 16". Signed and dated in pencil on cardstock verso. Also on verso stamped in black ink "Not for Reproduction Without Permission from Photographer Robert A. Sengstacke".

One of Sengstacke's most famous images, featuring Martin Luther King, Jr. giving an impassioned speech at Quinn Chapel in Chicago in 1966. King had temporarily moved into an apartment on the West Side of Chicago to protest the conditions of the ghetto.

Condition: Light wear throughout. Minor toning and soiling to the mat at edges, else good.
