Abraham Lincoln: Mounted Albumen of Meeting at Antietam Battlefield.
9" x 7" albumen on plain mount [9.75" x 9" sight] showing President Lincoln's meeting with General George B. McClellan on October 3, 1862, following the Battle of Antietam. O-62. The man standing to the far right has been identified as Captain George Armstrong Custer (K-8). A period "key" written in ink on the lower border identifies ten of the subjects. Matted and framed to an overall size of 18.75" x 18.25".
