Union Army Major General Daniel Sickles Carte de Visite Signed with Rank. 2 ½ x 3 ¾ inches. Bust portrait signed, "D. Sickles Mj. Genl. Commd'g."on the albumen at bottom. The verso is marked "SURGEON GENERAL'S OFFICE / ARMY MEDICAL MUSEUM. / PHOTOGRAPHIC SERIES." Contemporary identification in ink on the verso.
Condition: Light foxing, some minor mounting abrasion on the verso.
