    Robert Byington Michell (1823-1882) served as a brigadier general in the Union Army. During the Chickamauga campaign he was removed from active duty and spent the rest of the war in command of the District of Nebraska and the District of Kansas. After the war he briefly served as the Governor of the New Mexico Territory.

    Condition: Light edge toning and soiling. Minor bumping to corners.
