Jefferson Davis: "Right Man" Inauguration Carte-de-Visite [CDV]. 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" CDV with image of "Jeff. Davis," and slogan: "The Right Man in the Right Place Our First President." Quinby & Company of Charleston, S.C. back mark. Likely issued in conjunction with Davis's first inaugural in Montgomery, Alabama.Condition: Image is a tad light but still quite legible, couple blemishes as seen in the photo. CDV is unevenly trimmed but with sharp corners, verso has wax residue from being pasted down. In fine condition overall.
