Group of Three Rare Civil War Cartes de Visite. Group includes the following: full length standing view, in full uniform, of Pauline Cushman, 'The Union Spy and Scout', Anthony Brady backmark with overstamp from "Culver Service, New York"; rather risque bust portrait of Pauline Cushman with hair curled in ringlets and draped bodice. Anthony backmark; Col. Isaac Swartwood Catlin with his wife. Illegible backmark but a clean crisp image from the original negative. Catlin commanded the 109th New York Vols., and won the Medal of Honor for action at Petersburg where he was severely wounded and lost his right leg. Brevet Major General 3/3/65. A group of rarely encountered Civil War images in very fine or better condition.
