Four Union General Cartes de Visite (Giles A. Smith, William "Baldy" Smith, Benjamin S. Roberts, Franz Sigel) with One Clipped Signature (Giles Smith). All are 2.5" x 4". In each, the general wears his uniform (Sigel leans on his sword). Three CDVs bear different printed imprints (such as Brady and E. & H. T. Anthony); the fourth bears a Webster & Bro. stamp, along with a tax stamp. Each contains minor annotations on the reverse. Some staining, toning, and minor foxing.
