Confederate Cavalry General Williams C. Wickham Carte de Visite. 2.25" 4". This rare CDV features an upper-body portrait of the Virginian, possibly in late-1864 or early-1865 after resigning his Confederate military commission, while serving on the Second Confederate Congress. A printed imprint of the photographer-Charles R. Rees & Co. of Richmond-appears on the reverse. Only very minor soiling.Auction Info
