Description
Annie Oakley: Rare Carte-de-Visite. Very fine CDV studio portrait titled "Miss Annie Oakley (Little Sure Shot)." The popular performer in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Shows appears in her fringed buckskin outfit wearing her star-adorned wide-brimmed Western hat while holding one of three guns displayed in the image. Taken, we believe, in 1887. A fine example. This image is normally seen in the cabinet photo size. This is the first CDV version we have ever encountered.Auction Info
