Description
Abraham Lincoln et al: Three Carte de Visites [CDV's]. Group includes: 1) O-86A, 2 1/8" x 3 5/8" on mount and ruled in gilt. Anthony/Brady back mark. 2) 2 3/8" x 4" on captioned mount. No back mark but recorded as by Matthew Brady. 3) 2 3/8" x 3 3/8" composite image of Lincoln and his cabinet on mount and ruled in gilt. Bottom margin trimmed. Anthony back mark.Condition: 1) Trimmed, with upper corners clipped. Minor toning with scattered soiling. Pencil notation on verso. 2) Minor toning with scattered spotting and light soiling. 3) Toned with scattered soiling. Tear at upper center margin, just touching Lincoln's image. Additional staining and pencil marks on verso.
