Description
Abraham Lincoln: Carte de Visite [CDV]. 2 1/2" x 4" O-112 Carte de Visite [CDV]. "The Last Photograph of President Lincoln," was taken by Henry F. Warren at the White House on March 6, 1865. As described in the Hamilton/Ostendorf reference Lincoln In Photographs. Lincoln does indeed appear somewhat irritated, likely due to the fact that Warren had cajoled Lincoln's son Tad to bring his reluctant father out to the balcony for this photograph.Condition: Light foxing to image. Toning along bottom margin and minor wear to top edge of mount.
