Gorgeous Imperial Size Photograph of Troop "D", 5th U. S. Cavalry at Oklahoma Land Rush ca 1889. Brought in to keep the "boomers" in line during the Oklahoma land grab of 1889, Troop D of the 5th U.S. Cavalry is seen here in formation, atop their horses with swords drawn. This albumen photo by an unknown photographer is in amazing condition - clean, sharp, and spotless. Measures 7.25" x 4.25" and affixed to an 8.5" x 5.25" black photographer's mount with gilded edges.
