Description
Annie Oakley with Three Guns: An Early Cabinet Photo. This is another photograph of Annie that is better than its condition. Taken in 1887, it shows her holding a Parker hammer double (see Lot 44022) along with a Spencer shotgun (the first successful slide-action repeating shotgun) and a Marlin-Ballard single-shot target rifle. Photo itself is in very good condition. Some damage to the border and verso from old album mounting, notably a large flake across the bottom. 4.25" x 6.25".
