All-Star black cast, starring Joe Louis, Ruby Dee, The Mills Brothers, Harrel Tillman, Emmett "Babe" Wallace, and Gwendolyn Tynes.
By the time Joe "The Brown Bomber" Louis made this film he was already one of the world's greatest athletes, having won the World Championship in 1936 in a fight with James J. Braddock. Louis successfully defending that title over two dozen times over the course of his career. Well-known for his clean living and deeply-help personal moral code, Louis was a hero to fans worldwide, both before and after World War II. There is a brief appearance by the Mills Brothers, who are pictured on the poster, giving the film a bit of a musical flair.
Condition: With light soiling along the edges and flattened folds. Very good condition.
