Description
New York Daily Times: Bound Volume, 1852. 15 1/2" x 22 3/4" cloth-bound volume of the New York Daily Times, established in 1851 and predecessor to The New York Times. Comprising approximately 75 issues of the daily newspaper, dated January 1-March 31, 1852. Each issue consists of four pages (with a few eight-page special issues), printed in six columns.Condition: Very good. Inner pages generally clean and sound with minimal wear; a few small instances of loss to the top margin of the first newspaper (dated January 1). Minor wear to the binding, including some staining and fraying at the spine and extremities.
