Continental Journal and Weekly Advertiser: General Washington on Winning the War. (Boston, MA) dated June 26, 1783. This Revolutionary War era newspaper contains an inside page report congratulating General George Washington on the US winning the Revolutionary War and gaining independence from Great Britain. It also contains a large prominent front page illustrated ad for ISAAC GREENWOOD, the first native-born American dentist (and the father of John Greenwood, George Washington's own dentist). Outstanding display item for a dentist or museum of dentistry.Condition: Fine. Binding holes along left edge, as shown.
