Colton's Common School Geography. Reference Map of the United States, Section No. 11. [New York]: Sheldon & Co., 1874. 9 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches. Matted and framed to an overall size of 19 x 25 inches. Depicting the countries after reconstruction with early rail lines, towns, and forts. Hand colored in outline.
Map of Texas Showing Greer County. No place; no date [circa 1893]. 17 7/8 x 12 1/2 inches (sight). Matted and framed to an overall size of 25 1/2 x 20 1/2 inches. A county map of Texas including Greer County, which was located within the territory of the Cheyenne and Arapaho, and would later be reassigned to Oklahoma by a Supreme Court decision. Hand colored in outline.
Condition: Not examined out of frame. 1874 map with scattered staining to bottom half. 1856 map evenly toned, with vertical fold line at center exhibiting light buckling. 1893 map evenly toned with vertical fold line at center.
