J. Gorlinsky. Map of Louisiana. Washington: Department of the Interior, 1866. 16 1/2 x 16 inches (sight), matted and framed to an overall size of 23 x 21 inches. Hand-colored in outline. One of the first large colored state maps issued by the General Land Office, this map was originally part of a series accompanying the Annual Report of the General Land Office (not present). It depicts Louisiana's parishes, landmarks, and railroads, as well as the seats of the Land Office.

Condition: Not examined out of frame. Lightly toned with smoothed folds. Very light, scattered foxing.
