Description
Cary & Lea. Geographical, Statistical, and Historical Map of Mexico. Mexico and Internal Provinces. [Philadelphia]: Henry Charles Carey and Isaac Lea, Prepared from Humboldts map and other documents by J. Finlayson, Engraved by Young & Delleker, circa 1822. 21 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. Together with text, Appendix No. 38 titled "Mexico." A mat measuring 28 x 24 inches is included, but map is not mounted.Condition: Moderate, even toning with two small stains near bottom left corner and light dampstaining at right edge. Two 1/4-inch separations at top margin. Flattened center fold, reinforced on verso. Light staining on verso.
