[Map]. A. Finley. Mexico. Philadelphia: A. Finley, circa 1825. 13" x 10.25", engraved and hand-colored. Texas is seen as part of the Mexican state of "Coahuila and Texas," in orange. Austin's settlement is clearly marked along the Colorado River as is the town of San Felipe de Austin. A beautiful map with light toning and minor spots of staining at the edges. TSHA Donation. All proceeds, including Buyer's Premium, will go to support TSHA.Reference: Day, Maps of Texas, p. 17.
