Kate Ball Sketchbook Containing Eleven Pencil Drawings and One Small Painting. A total of 18 sheets, 4" x 6", and two smaller sheets laid in. Size of binder suggests that this was likely a travel sketchbook; landscapes include scenes in California, Texas, Mexico, and Yosemite. There are also pages containing quotations, and color palettes. Included is a tiny painting of a mountain scene, a study of "Sunset on El Capitan - Dec. 55", with notations regarding color palette to be used.
