Description
Hays County Court Citation requesting Sheriff J.S. Davis to serve and bring T.R. Bonner before the court. Single sheet, 8.25" x 14", printed on both sides; August 5, 1890. Davis signs the return as Sheriff, affirming that he has served the summons. J.S. Davis served under John S. "RIP" Ford during the Civil War in the Texas 2nd Cavalry. From the Robert E. Davis Collection.Condition: Flattened folds, with stray ink stains and light soiling and toning.
