Garth Williams. Illustration #30, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawing for illustrations #30 (appearing on page 109) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Dr. Dorian. Ink on paper. Approximately 11.75 x 10.5 inches, with layout instructions in pencil designating that "text" should appear above and below the illustration. Signed in full by Williams at lower center. Small ink splotch at right margin of image area; several shallow folds at side margins, outside image area. Else fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
