Garth Williams. Illustration #27, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawings for illustration #27 (appearing on page 100) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Wilbur does a back flip. Pencil on paper. Three sheets: two measuring 10.875 x 8.5 inches, and one measuring 8.5 x 7.5 inches. The two larger drawings are initialed by Williams, the smaller is not. One of the larger drawings has a couple of shallow bends to one corner. All fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
