Las Vegas Casino Chip: Vintage 1956 Sands Casino $5 "A Place in the Sun" Poker Chip. The small crown $5 Sands chip from 1956 is identified by #N6603 with a book value of Z4, however, it is the 4th issue and in the Campiglia and Wells reference it is listed with a rarity of R-10. We are proud to offer this chip from one of the most desirable Las Vegas casinos. An early strip casino and home to Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, the Sands had it all. A solid rarity, missing from most collections, we are unaware of any other example having come to market in undrilled condition!Condition: The chip on one side has a tiny edge nick on the inlay. In used condition, with only the slightest discoloration from handling/age. Overall, a remarkable survivor!
