Game of Whist: Eighteenth Century Cotton Bandanna. 23" x 21" cotton bandanna, printed in red, titled: "The Laws of the Game of Whist, with the most Approved computations of laying Money, any time of the Game." It appears to have been printed in the 1790's, probably in Scotland. It has one repaired corner and is lightly faded, but generally in very good condition. Whist was a very popular card game during the colonial period.Auction Info
