Description
FULL-SIZE TY COBB DECAL BAT. These colorful store model bats featured the biggest stars of the 1910 era, and are great favorites with modern collect-ors. Cobb, along with Joe Jackson, are the most valued. This is a very nice example: the bat itself has a lovely patina and the portrait decal, while it has some minor flaking and one large one, is still nice (and unmolested). So many of these decal bats are heavily restored. For someone inclined to have it done, this example would be a fairly easy restoration). Length 31½".
