Description

Two Wild West Printed Documents. Presumably to satisfy the demands of press and public, the Wild West company ordered printed a roster of the all the Indian people with the show in 1887. It is complete with tribal affiliation as well as phonetically spelled Indian names alongside their anglicized versions. The second document is a copy of a broadside that the Wild West security staff posted to warn off those who would sell liquor in the Indian camp at Earls Court. The broadside is signed on the back by Ed Goodman and by Thomas Kenny, Deputy U. S. Revenue Collector, England. This lot is part of the Ed Goodman Collection.
