Description
Texas Cattle Brands. Four pages, 8.75" x 13.75", n.p., n.d. [circa 1875], in Spanish. Over 90 brands depicted on an imprint with instructions to add any newly registered brands to the master brand book. Depictions of brands on Texas and imported livestock are very scarce. There are no folds, but the document is in fragile condition. Chipping and tears along some edges. The bottom right corner has been torn off and the top left corner has been cut out, as well as a 2.75" x .25" slot above the printed name of "Ramon G. Chavarri, El Secretorio de Gobierno".
