Description
Robert W. Foster's 1963 Pocket Diary & Memo Book. A 2.75" x 4" black softbound book with an Arlington, Virginia Real Estate & Insurance Company's address on the front in gilt. This little book was used daily by Agent Foster to make various notes as to hours and locations worked, expenses (including treats for the Kennedy children), events, and various series of numbers (codes?). The front "Identification" page has his business address listed as "The White House". Three days of particular interest that year include: August 7 which has an entry "Mrs. K to Hosp. New Baby Born" referring to the birth of Patrick Bouvier Kennedy (who died two days later); November 21 noting that "Pres & Mrs. K dep for Texas"; and November 22 where Foster tersely writes "Pres K Killed".
