Fort Merrill, Texas Provision Return for Teamsters Manuscript Document. One page 8" x 10" "Provision return for 4 new citizen teamsters for 6 days," dated 1853 from this Southern Texas post. Document lists rations provided to the four men who delivered goods and merchandise to the post including "Bacon, bread, beans, coffee, sugar, vinegar, candles, soap, salt" etc. Small notation: "4 new teamsters with Co. "J" from San Antonio".Condition: Very good-fine.
