Collection of Twenty-four Harvard College Medals. Eclectic group of medals issued for students at Harvard, including members of the Hasty Pudding Club, the staff of the Harvard Lampoon, the German Association, the Kalumet and Iroquois Clubs, debating society, etc. Many are inscribed with the name of the recipient and the year of their graduation, ranging from 1880 to 1931. Most of the medals are silver, although some are silver plated. One is non-plated copper and the smallest medal, issued as a souvenir of the Yale-Harvard Debates of 1896, appears to be gold. Some of the silver medals are beautifully toned. Sizing of the medals ranges from approximately 20mm to 43mm.
