Civil War-Era Maryland Secession Card. 2.25" x 3.5". Features a red and blue vignette bearing the state seal of Maryland surrounded by flags and reading: "Southern Rights / Death Before Dishonor / United We Stand! / Spirit of '76." While sympathy with the Southern cause was high in Maryland, she remained a loyal member of the Union throughout the war. Mounting remnants on the verso.Auction Info
