1. Satirical communication to the assassin from Satan, "As per agreement to make you comfortable, I have at great expense in having an extra oven of 10,000 degrees Far. put in your apartment...and detailed 417 of my best imps to attend the firing of the same." Written below: "Good until June 30/82 which is Friday" (the date set for his execution). Many such hate-filled missives were sent to Guiteau, and some of the more interesting ones were preserved in this scrapbook.
2. Satirical bill of lading for "One coil of rope for what purposes you know. Route to Hades after Gallows Judgement."
3. Great handbill "Hoodlum Guiteau Must Die!" declaring that "Rebel Davis will witness the execution." 5.75" x 8.5". Never saw this item before.
