Description
1860s-1870s New York Fire Insurance Document Collection consisting of more than 25 documents (policies, receipts, etc.), all related to the estate of John H. Dykers. These range in size from about 8" x 5" up to 14" x 17". Most all are partly printed forms, filled in by hand with various U.S. Revenue stamps attached. Many have beautifully engraved vignettes and decorative borders. A number of different insurance companies are represented. Generally fine to very fine condition.Auction Info
