[Mexican War]. Lithograph: "The First Division Volunteers . . . Under Command of Major General Robert Patterson," circa 1848. 30" x 22". This black and white lithograph depicts the encampment of Mexican War volunteers prior to departing Mexico. This scarce print also features the encampment of Colonel F. M. Wynkoop, the nemesis of Texas Ranger Captain Samuel H. Walker. Moderate wrinkles and staining.
