(George II) Land Indenture from the reign of George II. Oversized vellum document, 24" x 17.5", May 27, 1735, being a land deal entered into by "John Bennett of Guilford... and Elizabeth his wife... and William Osman..." for the sum of thirty pounds. John Bennett signs along his wife's mark. With three blue royal revenue stamps at left margin as well as to intact red wax seal at bottom.
