[Franklin D. Roosevelt]. Two Inauguration Invitations, One Party Invitation, and One Program. Each of the two invitations, both measuring 6.5" x 10", request the presence of the recipient "at the ceremonies attending the Inauguration of the President of the United States." One is for January 20, 1937, the other for January 20, 1941. Also included is the eight page program for the 1941 inauguration, measuring 6.25" x 9". With a 4.5" x 3.5" card invitation to Adelaide Black for a garden party hosted at the White House by First Lady Mrs. Roosevelt, May 17, circa 1941, with the original transmittal White House envelope.Auction Info
