DORMAND POSTCARD JOHNNY SAIN VARIATION. Those collectors who pursue Dormand postcards invariably confront stiff resistance in completing the issue. This is particularly painful because these cards are utterly beautiful, and they include chiefly Yankees and Dodgers. Of the production’s several challenges is the variation of Johnny Sain featuring a picture of his car dealership in Arkansas. The opportunity to add the Sain variation to one’s collection should, in itself, suffice. But this one is splendid. With only a hint of wear in the upper left corner, this difficult postcard is minimally Near Mint.
