Description

Declaration of Independence: Circa 1860 Copper Plaque Titled "The National Medallion." 12 3/8 x 16 1/8 inches embossed copper plaque titled, "The National Medallion in Memoriam Majorum." The top half depicts the Declaration of Independence. The bottom half is titled "The Roll Call of the Revolution" with a history of battles and events during and after the American Revolutionary War. With numerous vignettes. Framed to an overall size of 16 ½ x 20 inches.

Condition: Excessive oxidation and staining on verso. Frame is worn with scuffs and dents. Frame is separating at all four corners.
