Description

COLLECTION OF SIX AUTOGRAPHED COMMEMORATIVE BATS. Perhaps the most interesting is a Cooperstown Bat Co. issue celebrating the Negro Leagues. Over 25 bold Sharpie signatures, with Buck O’Neill’s being the most prominent. No doubt many, if not most, of the signers are now deceased. Also includes: 1) Adirondack "Salute to the 1950’s Yankees" model with the most signatures we’ve ever seen on a bat! There are dozens. We can’t begin to count them. Among the more prominent: Henrich, Richardson, Bauer, Terry, Tresh, Duren, Skowron, C. Boyer, Bouton, John, Houk, Tiant, McDougald, and a few non-Yankees (Friend, Swoboda). Nice bat 2) Cooperstown Bat Co. salute to Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium. Over 30 signatures many of whom never played in Philadelphia. Among the better known: Herman Franks, Ryne Duren, Don Money, Al Brancato, Harry Walker, Bobby Bragan, John Kennedy, Crash Williams. 3) 1994 Cooperstown Bat tribute to Cleveland’s Jacobs Field. 14 signatures. 4) 1992 Cooperstown Bat tribute to Balitmore’s Camden Yards. 3 signatures 5) 1999 Camden Yards tribute to World Champion Yankees. 4 signatures. All in beautiful NM Condition. (# This item may require additional shipping charges).
